ARGYLE are not selling season-tickets for the 2012-13 season.

Instead, the Pilgrims have announced a series of membership packages to appeal to all sections of their support.

Launched under the banner of ‘Join the Club’, Argyle are promising the Green Army ‘so much more than just a seat’ when the packages go on sale from next week.

Top of the range is a Green+ Membership package, which entitles holders to not only all 23 league games in 2012-13, but also – amongst other benefits – a replica shirt, a match-day programme at every home match, and a free subscription to the Pilgrims’ premium online audio and video service, Argyle Player.

We are also offering a standard Green Membership, which gives supporters admission to the 23 league games and a wide selection of other benefits – all for the exact same price as a basic 2011-12 season-ticket.

That means the Green Army will not pay a penny more to follow Argyle next season than they did this – and they will receive a whole lot of additional benefits.

The cost of supporting the Pilgrims for Green Members works out at less than £15 per match, a saving of more than £5 on the individual game price of admission – fantastic value in its own right before taking into consideration the extra add-ons.

The popular White Membership, which includes an option for fans to attend any six games throughout the season, has returned, as has Pilgrim Membership, a basic club membership with benefits.

There are also Junior, Family, Business/Professional Membership packages available.

There are concessions for senior citizens, 21s and under, students, disabled, and serving Armed Forces, and fans will be able to spread the Membership cost over four or ten months.

Announcing the packages, Argyle chairman James Brent said: “When the 2011-12 season began, it was by no means certain we would reach the end of it.

“However, together – players, staff, fans, the whole Argyle community – we came through, and, at the time of writing and despite our narrow defeat at the hands of the npower League 2 champions elect, our Football League destiny is firmly in our own hands.

“Now, we are preparing with confidence for a new season, a fresh start.

“We’re not issuing season-tickets for 2012-13 – we’re saying ‘Join the Club’.

“You know as well as we do that Plymouth Argyle is, and always will be, a great football club, and we all want it to be greater still.

“We want you to be a part of it. Part of our new season. Our fresh start.”

Packages will be available to purchase from 10am on Tuesday, April 24, when a brochure will be sent out to existing season-ticket holders. Application forms will also be available from the Home Park Box Office.

PLYMOUTH Argyle are pleased to announce that Bond Timber have again agreed to be official shirt sponsor and main sponsor of the club for the 2012-13 season.

WH Bond & Sons became the official main sponsor in July 2011. The sponsorship provided a welcome boost to the club in what was a difficult period, both on and off the field.

The new agreement is structured along similar lines to the present arrangement, with a guaranteed annual retainer plus bonuses dependent upon points earned in the league and cup success.

Richard Herrick, of Argyle’s Commercial Department, said: “We are delighted that Chris and Jon Bond have again agreed to support Plymouth Argyle and its future.

“The sponsorship has clearly raised the profile of their business, and the renewal is tangible evidence of just how successful the sponsorship has been for both parties.”

Chris Bond, Director of WH Bond & Sons, said that he was confident the Pilgrims’ management team of Carl Fletcher and Romain Larrieu would win their fight to stay in npower League 2, and welcomed the new stability at Home Park since James Brent became owner.

“We are very positive that Carl, Romain and the team will fight off the relegation fears, which have blighted the club for this season,” said Chris.

“However, we will back the club with the new deal, whatever the outcome.

“The football club is very important to the local area in terms of its economy and exposure and we feel it needs our local support.

“We are very pleased to be working with a club which has a structured backing now James [Brent] has taken over, and we look forward to the deserved success of the club and the new owner.

“Finally, and most importantly, we would like to thank the incredibly loyal fans for doing what they do best – supporting the team through such turbulent times.”

Richard Herrick said: “We have made great strides over the last few months regarding the number and extent of our commercial sponsorships at the club, and this agreement is tangible evidence of the club’s confidence in the future.”

WH Bond & Sons were founded back in 1957 as a family-run farming business. Through several generations, the business has evolved and diversified, while still focusing on its agricultural background.

Through the 1970s and ‘80s, the family developed and owned the now world famous St Mellion Golf & Country Club and, with the assistance of a certain Jack Nicklaus, they created one of the finest golf courses in the world.

The company now consists of eight individual departments that provide a one-stop shop for all construction and agricultural services.

The family currently farms 2,000 acres across South East Cornwall and employs more than 100 direct and indirect personnel in: Timber Sales, Plant Hire, Machinery Sales, Civil Engineering, Landscaping, Recycling, Agriculture and Training.

Argyle expect to be able to announce more sponsorship deals before the start of the 2012-13 season.
