WH Bond win The Cornwall Business Awards for Best Diversification in Business

On Thursday 8th May WH Bond and Sons, based near Saltash, nervously awaited the Cornwall Business awards, now in their third year. This was the first time the company had entered and were thrilled even to be short listed amongst the cream of Cornish businesses. Simon Woodroffe was guest presenter who encouraged all businesses and business people to be “outrageous”.

WH Bond and Sons Ltd are nothing but that with their numerous diversifications over the last 51 years. With the construction of St Mellion Golf and Country Club in the 1970’s right the way through to our diversification into the Construction industry which has had some dramatic financial results. WH Bond and Sons Ltd director Chris Bond “when previous generations told us that we would farm ourselves out of farming due to over production we took them seriously. Diversification has made the business into what it is today! Well done WH Bond!”
